The El Paso Chihuahuas are just one win away from their first ever PCL title after last night's 10-4 clubbing of the Oklahoma City Dodgers. Catcher Austin Hedges launched a pair of home runs for El Paso and Carlos Asuaje added a pair of hits including his first home run of the postseason. Chihuahuas manager Rod Barajas joined Sportstalk yesterday afternoon on our Village Inn Hotline, and he talked about his team's resurgence in the PCL playoffs.

The Chihuahuas are flying to Oklahoma City this afternoon, and they will resume their series with the Dodgers tomorrow at 6:30pm. Tim Hagerty will have the call on 600 ESPN El Paso. The final three games (if necessary) of the PCL Championship Series will be played at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. If El Paso wins the PCL title, they will spend the weekend in Oklahoma City before heading to Memphis for the Gildan Triple-A National Championship Game on Tuesday, September 20th. They would play the International League Champion, which will be either the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (Yankees) or the Gwinnett Braves. That series is currently tied at one. 600 ESPN El Paso will be broadcasting the Gildan Triple A National Championship Game beginning with the pregame show at 5:30pm next Tuesday. First pitch is at 6:07pm.
