If you like to shake your hips to a hot Latin beat, you’ll want to spend Thursday, July 22, at Cool Canyon Nights. El Paso’s own Azucar is the featured act this week at the coolest free music series in town.

This group of talented musicians, singers, composers, and arrangers will have you moving to their signature sound featuring salsa, merengue, and cumbia.

Known and loved for the Latin-infused variety they bring to the stage, Azucar is more than that. The band is very versatile and performs other genres extremely well, including international music and jazz.

Set against the backdrop of the majestic Franklin Mountains inside the McKelligon Amphitheatre, attendance to Cool Canyon Nights is free and seating is on a first-come basis.

But if you want guaranteed seating, you can upgrade to V.I.P. seating. For $15 a person (plus taxes and fees), you get access to the VIP area for tapas and tacos beginning at 6 p.m., plus front-of-the-line access and a guaranteed seat inside of the amphitheater.
