Jason Lane allowed only one run in seven innings of work Wednesday, as the El Paso Chihuahuas beat the Colorado Springs Sky Sox 5-1. The Chihuahuas took all four games against the Sky Sox, their first sweep since May 2nd-5th vs. Sacramento.

 

Cody Decker went 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs. Decker has homered in three consecutive games and hit four long balls in the Chihuahuas eight-game road trip to Oklahoma City and Colorado Springs. Adam Moore went 4-for-5 with four singles and an RBI. Jace Peterson, Jeff Francoeur and Tyler Greene also had multi-hit games for El Paso.

 

The Chihuahuas won six of eight games on the road trip and have seven victories in their last nine games. Wednesday was El Paso’s final road game of the season. The Chihuahuas went 38-34 in the 72 games away from home this year.

 

Tonights play of the game belonged o Cody Decker. Decker hit a 2-Run home run in the sixth inning and it was his third straight game with a home run.
