A scary scene took place at PNC Park tonight when St. Louis Cardinals rookie outfielder Stephen Piscotty collided with teammate Peter Bourjos in the seventh inning of their game against the Pirates. Bourjos was attempting a diving catch when the two players banged into each other. Although Bourjos caught the ball, Piscotty laid motionless on the field for several minutes while he was attended to by the team training staff. The good news is that tests came back negative for the rookie, who was diagnosed with a head contusion. The Cards won the game 3-0.
