NFL free agency has officially begun and the Houston Texans have made the biggest splash so far. The Texas will sign former Denver Broncos quarterback Brock Osweiler to four year  $72 million dollar deal.

The deal comes as a shocker as it was expected that Osweiler would stay with the Broncos after Peyton Manning retired on Monday afternoon.

Apparently it all came down to the money. The Texans are paying Osweiler $18 million per year and the Broncos were only offering $16 million per year.

It will be interesting to see what the Broncos do now at the quarterback position. This will be the first time in history that a team that just won a Super Bowl doesn't have a starting quarterback that was on the roster the previous year.
