Battle On The Border: Moreno Retains Belts, De La Mora’s Corner Stops Fight

In what has to be the weirdest ending of the night (at least, so far ) David De La Mora's corner stops the fight and Anselmo Moreno retains his belts.

The fight was one sided through the first 2 Rounds as Moreno was hitting De La Mora early and often. Then Round 3 came and we saw a different De La Mora. He hurt Moreno and almost put him on the canvas.

After that one flash, he was done and Moreno took the fight over again and this time for good.

I can't really explain the stoppage of the fight. De La Mora had no cuts and was only in real trouble once in the fight.

Moreno improves to 32-2-1, while De La Mora, who received a considerable amount of taunts and boos from the crown, falls to 24-2.
