As the number of COVID-19 cases continue to rise all across America, the National Football League is now beefy up their protocols to keep players and coaches safer.

With all the success the NBA and the NHL had by having their players and teams live in a bubble situation to eliminate the spread of COVID-19 in each of their leagues, you would think and organization as large as the NFL would have learned from their success and adopted something similar for the leagues players and coaches to start the season.

There has been a much larger number of NFL players and coaches that have gotten the coronavirus than the NBA and NHL combined. I'm just surprised it has taken all the way until week 11 of the season before the NFL has gotten more serious about slowing the spread of the virus among its 32 teams.

According to FOX 17, this Saturday all NFL teams, coaches and staff are required to wear masks at all times. Masks have to be worn anywhere on the teams grounds, during practice and even in the weight rooms.

Any meeting players and coaches have will be done virtually or in a very large indoor or outdoor space but will need approval from the league first.

No more of teams and coaches eating together in cafeterias. All meals now have to be set up for a to-go situation only. Locker room time will also be limited for players and coaches.

COVID-19 is on the rise and if the NFL can keep its players, coaches and staff members to adhere to the new guidelines they should be able to continue to slow the spread of the virus.
