The El Paso Chihuahuas sure played a damn good game this past Saturday. But the icing on the cake was how the El Paso Chihuahuas became the 2022 Pacific Coast League East Division Champions.

If you attended the El Paso Chihuahuas baseball game this past Saturday then you got to witness something that doesn't happen much. Now I am not talking about the big win but in fact, referring to something else that not many places will do.

Only in El Paso, you will see the staff at Southwest University Park doing the unimaginable after a big win. After the El Paso Chihuahuas won the game against the Oklahoma City Dodgers the fireworks spectacular was accompanied by a neat surprise.

While the El Paso Chihuahuas baseball players were enjoying a champagne shower the fans got to enjoy seeing the field lit up. You don't really see or hear of staff lighting up a sports field on fire much.

There is nothing like watching the baseball field lit on fire after a big win against the Oklahoma City Dodgers. Let's hope the guys can pull it off again next year so you can catch this cool sight if you missed it this past weekend.
