After watching the opening ceremony for the 2012 Olympics in London and thinking back on the Barcelona, Atlanta, Sydney and Beijing Olympics -- a lot has changed.

We've come along way as far as breaking barriers, breaking records and breaking the bank when it comes to putting on a good show. There's been catastrophe, champions and controversy. I came across this short animated video on the history of the Olympics and thought it was quite witty, yet interesting.
