You can always keep up to date with the latest El Paso COVID-19 numbers at KLAQ.com. As of this morning there were 237 new COVID-19 cases in the Sun City. This brings the total cases in El Paso up to 9,953. And with 5 new COVID-19 related deaths, the El Paso total now sits at 157.

The numbers can look scary, but the biggest thing to remember is, just follow the rules and guidelines. Seriously. Wear a mask, practice social distancing, and wash your hands thoroughly. It's not that hard. Of course this doesn't completely eliminate any threat of getting COVID-19 but it does lower your odds.

Are you guaranteed to survive any car accident just by wearing a seat belt? No. But you greatly increase your odds of survival. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says that back in 2017, seat belts saved approximately 14,995 lives. It also said that seat belt usage was at 90.7% in 2019. Is it guaranteed to save your life? No, but you wear a seat belt because it increases the odds of you getting home safely.
