Last year my son and I checked out Waffle House in Albuquerque, NM. I’ll be honest, I had never been to a Waffle House before and I truly enjoyed it.

I’m not much of a breakfast person, but for some reason that day I was craving waffles and Waffle House satisfied my appetite!

Now, here in El Paso, we don’t have a Waffle House so I asked the people of El Paso where a good place to get a waffle would be just in case I got another waffle craving.

Many people commented saying they’ve never had a good waffle here in El Paso so they were interested in hearing suggestions and the suggestions did not disappoint.

In no particular order, here’s a look at the best restaurants in El Paso that serve up amazing waffles… according to El Pasoans.

1: The El Paso Wing Factory: 801 N. Piedras

Wait- wings and waffles? Yup. Apparently, The El Paso Wing Factory which is located in central El Paso has some amazing waffles.

Scrolling through their menu online you’ll see that most of their menu items are wings, fries, etc. But if you keep on scrolling you’ll notice the menu item Chicken & Waffles and here’s how restaurant owners describe their delicious waffles:

"Homemade Creamy Batter whipped up into a fluffy Waffle, layered with 3 Juicy hand-breaded chicken tenderloins, crowned with a strip of Brown Sugar Bacon, sprinkled with fresh apple chunks, drizzled with molasses & served with Spicy Raspberry & Siriacha Maple Glaze dipping sauces...BOOM!!!!”

I mean, if you weren’t hungry yet I bet now you are!

2: 2Ten Coffee Roasters: 3019 Montana Ave.

According to their website, 2Ten Coffee Roasters is El Paso's Premier coffee roaster with a unique take on brunch and coffee. Sustainable practices with a passion for service.

Scrolling through their menu online you see a variety of breakfast options but it’s that waffle section that caught my eye.

You can choose from three waffle options that include Berry, Classic, and Cookie Butter.

3: Coffee Waffle: 13178 Alameda Ave. Suite B Clint, TX

What's better than coffee and waffles? Nothing if you ask us! That’s what reads on Coffee Waffles' official Facebook page and by looking at their menu item photos, I believe that statement to be true!

Coffee Waffle is located in Clint, so it may be a drive for most of us, but according to people who have had waffles here, it’s well worth the drive!

Looking at this menu just made my mouth water!

Their waffle selections include a very berry waffle which is a Single waffle covered in powdered sugar, fresh strawberries, and our mixed berry sauce. Topped with whipped cream.

Then there’s the Strawnana which is One waffle smothered in Nutella topped with strawberries, banana whipped cream, and powdered sugar!

These are just two of the eight waffle options but I had to stop myself before I got too hungry!

4: THE HIVE: 1505 George Dieter # 115 El Paso, TX

I’ve driven past this coffee shop millions of times and never thought that amazing waffles were made in there, but according to some El Pasoans the waffles at The HIve are the bee’s knees….. *insert laugh here*

The Hive is known for its great coffee selection but they have a few breakfast items and on the menu is a sweet Belgium waffle that I gotta try soon!

5: Crave Kitchen & Bar

I wasn’t surprised to see Crave on this list because I am a fan of their breakfast selection but I have yet to try their waffles!

Most people that put Crave on their list for best Waffles in El Paso specifically said it was the Churro Waffle that won them over.

Honestly, anything with churro flavor is a win in my book!
