The WWE announced on Tuesday that they have suspended superstar Roman Reigns for 30 days for violating the WWE wellness policy. The suspension goes into effect immediately and is the first offense by Reigns. The WWE did not mention the specific violation that Reigns committed. As for Reigns, he apologized on his Twitter.

Reigns was the WWE champion until he lost the title to Seth Rolling at the Money in the Bank PPV this past Sunday. With Reigns only missing 30 days he will be back in time for Summerslam which takes place in August.

This the third wellness suspension the WWE had implemented this year as they also suspended wrestlers Adam Rose and Konnor.
