Each league has every team mascot represented, including such memorable characters like Celery (Buffalo Bisons), Roscoe the Grease Monkey (Bowling Green Hot Rods), Hambone (Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs), and Ballapeno (San Antonio Missions). After seeing every mascot in the online contest, it's obvious that Minor League baseball's marketing focus is geared towards cuddly creations that kids love. It also means that no matter what name El Paso's new Triple-A team chooses, they will create a mascot that will be a home run with every child attending a baseball game.
