Earlier today, El Paso Locomotive FC announced that defender Matt Bahner had signed a contract with the club pending league and federation approval. He will replace Fabrice Fokobo, who was released by the team yesterday. The 30-year old Bahner will have an opportunity to reunite with head coach and technical director Mark Lowry.

"Matt is a player I am familiar with from my time at Jacksonville," Lowry said in the official team release. "He can play anywhere across the back line and brings a good deal of experience and athleticism. As a person, he is one of the best I have worked with and is the type of player we want around this club; honest and hard working."
