Texans Fire Wade Phillips, Then Ask Him For Money

Last week, the disappointing-isn’t-a-strong-enough-word Houston Texans fired interim/head/defensive coordinator Wade Phillips. The team must have failed to send out a company-wide memo about the personal change. The team’s ticket sales office tried to bum a couple extra bucks off the son of Bum.

Wade turned down the reminder to renew his suite for next season via Twitter.

Maybe Texans brass is gearing up for another awful season and wants to get butts in the seats — even butts they’ve kicked out the door.
