The UTEP-Western Illinois first round matchup of The Basketball Classic postseason tournament has been pushed from a Tuesday tip to a Saturday afternoon contest due to travel issues within WIU.
Following internal deliberation, the UTEP men's basketball team has accepted a bid to join The Basketball Classic postseason tournament, and the Miners will lace up their sneakers this Tuesday for a 5 p.m. tip against an opponent to be determined.
UTEP basketball head coach Joe Golding completed his roster with former Oregon State forward Alfred Hollins, who transfers to the Miners to play immediately.
