The latest scandal at New Mexico State University with the men's basketball program has been no exception for local KTSM Sports Director Colin Deaver. Knee-deep in constant breaking news coming out more and more each day, ESPN took notice, and he ended up on SportsCenter.

NEW YORK (AP) — George Karl is joining ESPN as a studio analyst. Karl won the Coach of the Year award last season but then lost his job in Denver. He will debut Friday night on "SportsCenter" and also appear on other NBA programming on the network as part of a multiyear deal. He previously worked for ESPN as a studio analyst during the 2003-04 season.

ESPN is talking about the LA Times article in which Tim Floyd talked about meeting with USC AD Pat Haden about the Trojans' coaching job.

This is just cool. Owen Groesser is a middle school student who has Down Syndrome. He made his school's basketball team, but hadn't seen any action at all until the final game. But when he got in? Boom goes the dynamite!
