The Most Epic ‘This is SportsCenter’ Commercial Ever [Video]

Sometime in the mid-90s, the ad wizards at ESPN launched the 'This is SportsCenter' campaign.  Quite honestly, some of the spots may be the most memorable things out of Bristol.

One of the newest commercials, featuring NFL reporter John Clayton, has set the bar so high I don't know that it can ever be eclipsed.

A short while back, an internet rumor emerged that the 'the professor' was rocking the bald head/pony tail look made popular by porn directors in the 1980s.  As Abraham Lincoln so eloquently stated at his 1863 Gettysburg Address, "You can't believe everything you read on the internet."

Clayton had never addressed the rumor specifically, but he wasn't above poking fun at himself and the rumor in this hilarious commercial.
