The 2012 Final Four includes four NCAA basketball programs that have each won at least one national championship in its history. In total, Kentucky, Louisville, Ohio State, Kansas have 49 Final Four appearances and 13 NCAA basketball titles between them.

At this point we have run out of superlatives to describe what the Butler Bulldogs have done the last two seasons.  To me they are more wicked stepsister and less Cinderella.  Even though the name across their jersey says Butler, if it read Indiana no one would question it.

Virginia Commonwealth University and Butler will meet Saturday in the most unlikely Final Four match up in NCAA Tournament history.

There is one team from last year's NCAA championship game  still alive and it's not the Duke Blue Devils. Yup Butler, the little-team-that-could from Indianapolis, is at it again, defeating Wisconsin 61-54 and advancing to the Elite Eight, where they'll face Florida Gators.
