The baseball Hall of Fame won’t have any new players in the class of 2021 after voters decided no one had the merits — on the field or off — for enshrinement in Cooperstown.

Derek Jeter and Larry Walker will be giving speeches in Cooperstown, this summer. Jeter was a near-unanimous selection for induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Edgar Martinez will become the first Designated Hitter to be inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame during a ceremony in Cooperstown, NY today.

Former Reds shortstop Barry Larkin can now add hall of famer to his already impressive resume.  Like many before him, Larkin has made a seamless transition from the field to the broadcast booth.  Larkin was elected to the hall of fame today...

I'm happy the BBWAA voted Bert Blyleven and Roberto Alomar into the Baseball Hall of Fame. Both players deserved election and Blyleven has been waiting patiently while many of his less-deserving peers were getting inducted.
