Tomorrow (Saturday, Sept. 10) 600 ESPN will be carrying the UTEP/Texas Longhorns contest starting at 5 p.m.. However, the El Paso Chihuahuas also have a game tomorrow night starting at 8 p.m. And as we all know, there's a chance the two games could run into each other.

We wanted to let you know that we have a backup plan so that no fan has to miss a part of either game.

Should the UTEP/Longhorns game run long, we will broadcast the start of the Chihuahuas game at 8 p.m. on our sister station, 93.1 KISS FM. When the UTEP/Longhorns game ends, the Chihuahuas game will go back to 600 ESPN AM.

So, the schedule will look like this:

5 p.m. -- UTEP Miners vs. Texas Longhorns on 600 ESPN AM...

  • if the game ends BEFORE 8 p.m., El Paso Chihuahuas on 600 ESPN AM
  • if the game ends AFTER 8 p.m., El Paso Chihuahuas on 93.1 KISS FM

The chances of this happening are pretty low, but it wouldn't be the strangest thing that could happen on a Saturday night, right?
