A scary moment took place in last night's game between San Diego State and UC Riverside. Aztecs forward Dwayne Polee II collapsed on the court midway through the first half and was attended to by paramedics at the game. Polee was conscious but hooked up to an electrocardiogram machine as he was taken off the court by a gurney to a standing ovation at Viejas Arena. The good news is that Polee was alert and responsive after being taken to a local hospital. School officials did not immediately know why the senior forward collapsed on the court, but were planning to run a battery of tests on him. Polee was averaging 8.4 points per game this season for the Aztecs.
