Rick Neuheisel Carried Off Field After Final Practice [Video]

Rick Neuheisel's UCLA Bruins weren't good enough on the field for him to salvage his job.  UCLA gave Neuheisel the pink slip Monday after the Bruins got crushed 50-0 by the USC Trojans.

Neuheisel has always had the reputation as a player's coach, and his players showed their appreciation by carrying him off the field after practice on Wednesday.  Despite being fired on Monday, Neuheisel will coach the Bruins tomorrow in the inaugural Pac-12 title game against Oregon.

The NCAA will allow the Bruins to play in a bowl game even if the lose to Oregon and finish the season 6-7.  Neuheisel will not coach the bowl game.
