After 10 days which included a national search for their next men's basketball head coach, New Mexico State Athletic Director Mario Moccia will stay in house with one of his own. Multiple media outlets are reporting that Paul Weir will be named the next Aggies head coach. The 36-year old has spent the last nine years with the school, including five of them as Associate Head Coach under Marvin Menzies. Weir also becomes the first Canadian-born head coach in Division 1 history. Menzies left the school to accept the head coaching position at UNLV.

NMSU will officially introduce Weir as head coach at a 4:30pm press conference today, and he will call into Sportstalk shortly after 5pm today.
