New UTEP Assistant Coach Bob Cantu On 600 ESPN El Paso [AUDIO]

Just days ago, news broke that UTEP had replaced assistant coach Greg Foster (left to be an assistant with the Philadelphia 76ers) with former Tim Floyd assistant coach and interim USC head coach, Bob Cantu.

Hours after Cantu stepped off the plane in El Paso, he joined Steve on SportsTalk to talk about the move here among other things.

"Yes, I think one of the things that's great is we've got continuity and that we have worked together. I worked with Phil at SC for five years and coach Floyd for four... I think it is going to be an easy transition seeing as how we start practice here in a couple of weeks."
