Another Wrestlemania has come and gone, here's my report on the lackluster event.

Best Match of the night: Undertaker vs CM Punk

Worst match of the night: Mark Henry vs Ryback

WADE BARRETT VS. THE MIZ FOR THE IC TITLE

Miz kicked out of Wasteland and won clean in the middle with the figure four leglock.  They gave them no time to work so this was just a warm up match for the broadcast.

THE SHIELD VS. RANDY ORTON & SHEAMUS & BIG SHOW

The finish saw Sheamus go to tag the Big Show, but Orton tagged himself in.  Seth Rolling came off the top rope into an RKO, but then Roman Reigns speared Orton and Ambrose got the pin.  After the match, Show got mad and laid out both Orton and Sheamus.

RYBACK VS. MARK HENRY

Just like I thought, this was the typical big man power vs power match.  Finish saw Ryback  get Henry up on his shoulders but Henry grabbed the ropes and Ryback lost his balance and Henry collapsed on him for the pin.  After the match, Ryback gave Henry the shell shock.  This made no sense

DANIEL BRYAN & KANE VS. BIG E LANGSTON & DOLPH ZIGGLER FOR THE TAG TITLES

Finsh saw Kane choke slamm Ziggler and tagged Bryan, who used a diving head-butt on Ziggler for the pin. Bryant was very over with the crowd.  The WWE should think about making him a singles wrestler again.

CHRIS JERICHO VS. FANDANGO

Fandango did ok in his WWE wrestling debut. Finish saw Jericho going for the Walls of Jericho, Fandango blocked it and used an inside cradle on Jericho for the pin.

ALBERTO DEL RIO VS.  JACK SWAGGER FOR THE WORLD TITLE

Match was ok. The finish saw  Zeb Colter kicking the crutches out from Ricardo Rodriguez.  Del Rio went after Colter but then Swagger jumped Del Rio on the floor.  But when they got in the ring Del Rio flipped over into the armbar clean in the middle.

UNDERTAKER VS. C.M. PUNK

This was by far the best match of the show.  CM Punk was great in this match.  The Undertaker did ok considering how slow he was.  The biggest spot was Punk putting Undertaker on the Spanish table and Punk came off the top rope with an elbow.  Punk made it but the table didn't break.  Lots of reversals in and out of tombstones and GTS spots.  Punk had kicked out of a tombstone earlier, but finally Undertaker got out of the GTS and hit a second tombstone piledriver for the pin.

BROCK LESNAR VS. HHH

This was a very odd match.  Brock Lesnar dominated most of this match.  He gave Triple H thru the Spanish announcing table with a sluplex.  He hit him with the ring steps, then he tried to break HHH’s arm with the Kimura.  Sean Michaels tried to help but Lesnar gave him the F5. HHH went to the Kimura over and over and Lesnar kept breaking it by slamming him on the ring steps and then HHH would put the Kimura on.  Paul Heyman tried to interfere but Michaels superkicked him.  Finally Lesnar tried to slam him but HHH turned it into a DDT on the steps.  HHH hit Lesnar in the head with a sledge hammer and then pinned him after a pedigree on the steps.

JOHN CENA VS. THE ROCK

This match was good for what it was.  The crowd was not buying the near falls this time aroundIn the end Rock went for a Rock bottom and Cena countered into the Attitude Adjustment for the pin. I lost track of how many rock bottoms and peoples elbows and AA's were kicked out of, but roughly 2-3 of each.  Cena even used a rock bottom for a near fall.

After the match Cena and Rock hugged it out and it raised their hands together.  The crowd HATED IT!

Overall, this was a decent but not great PPV.  For Wrestlemania this was disappointing. Not worth the 70 dollars the WWE was charging. No swerves, no run ins, no backstage interviews and no America the Beautiful.
