Temple running back prospect Ryquell Armstead, a 2015 Millville high graduate, has continued to post excellent numbers at the NFL Draft Combine blazing through the 40-yard dash in 4.46 seconds on Saturday.

Armstead is turning some scouts heads this draft season, with an impressive showing at the Senior Bowl, and now the NFL Combine, showing some good measurables to be an NFL back.

The 5-foot-11, 220-pounder had seven carries for 24 yards and a touchdown in the Reese's Senior Bowl back in January.

His time was among the very best at the combine, and finished in the top 5 in the 3-cone times, making him a near lock to be draft in April's draft.  He also had 22 reps in the bench press.

It's fair to say Armstead stock is rising.
