For the first time in 2020, fans will finally be able to watch El Paso Locomotive FC at Southwest University Park. The club announced today that limited seating totaling 800 fans (11% of the stadium) will be allowed for the team's next home match against Real Monarchs SLC on Saturday, August 29th. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.

"Our staff has worked diligently and in conjunction with local community and health authorities to create a plan for a safe and healthy environment in which to welcome our fans back," MountainStar Sports President Alan Ledford said in the official release. "This hint of normalcy is welcome progress during this challenging time."

For the lucky diehards that are able to watch Locomotive FC play in person next Saturday, they will be required to follow strict guidelines. They include: social distancing of 12-feet, masks required at all times with no exceptions, and COVID-19 screening prior to entering the stadium. Hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout Southwest University Park.

As for tickets, they will first be made available to season ticket holders and then to fans on the waiting list. If you are not lucky enough to watch the game in person, you can still catch the action on the CW and ESPN+ with Duke Keith and Michael Balogun calling the action.
