Have you ever wondered why more baseball players don't try to leap over the catcher when trying to cross home plate? Instead, most baserunners will either slide and try to avoid the tag or collide with the catcher and hope to knock the ball out of his glove. Here is a great example of what more ballplayers should do to try and score a run in baseball. It happened at the San Marcos Wood Bat Tournament last Sunday. Devin Avedissian got creative and showed everyone that he can leap tall catchers in a single bound when he scored a run in a semifinal game. Even if baseball doesn't work out as he gets older, Devin definitely has a future in basketball or track and field with jumping ability like that.
