Let's be real here, folks. The game of baseball can be a bit slow. As a spectator, there is nothing better than enjoying a couple of cold ones while enjoying a nice day at the ball park. It seems like this umpire wanted to take park in the game-day festivities as well.

Now, there is a difference between having a couple of cold ones and straight up getting hammered at work. In my estimate, there was some sort of tailgate or pre-game happening and this umpire made a stop by. Things must have gotten out of hand, as he seemed to even be struggling to balance as he strutted around the diamond.

Baseball has been doing all kinds of things to attract new fans to the game in order to compete with the likes of professional football and basketball. If baseball really wanted to create chaos that could also couple as added entertainment for fans, have the umpires take a shot every couple of innings and let the hilarity ensure. From the reactions of the crowd at this game, folks definitely seemed to enjoy the peculiar scene.
