Jennifer Han, El Paso's first and only world boxing champion, will defend her IBF featherweight title against mandatory challenger Lilian Martinez. The championship fight will take place on Saturday, October 15th at the Don Haskins Center.

"I really love fighting in El Paso, before my many fans, family and friends," Han said in the official release announcing the title fight. "To have an opportunity to come back and put on a show for all those who have supported me, has me very excited to be back in the ring. I had been dealing with a stress fracture in my hip over the Summer, but I'm 100% now and really excited to get back in the ring."
