The Texas Bucket List went to visit Ay Dios Mio in 2024

Located at 2909 Pershing Drive, (where the old Pershing Inn used to be), Ay Dios Mio has gotten a ton of extra love on TikTok back in June & now The Texas Bucket List went to see the place for themselves just a few months later as part of their "Bite of the Week" segment.

Shane McAuliffe interviewed with the owner of Ay Dios Mio, Jennifer Mendoza & Enrique Lozano, where he got to see Enrique's cooking skills first hand. Shane also got to try favored dishes like the tripas, fried cod, the octopus, the lengua & the classic carne asada dishes.

Shane also had his first taste of eating bone marrow tacos; he even classified it as "wagyu steak with butter". You can watch the entire segment on Ay Dios Mio that was uploaded on their YouTube channel down below.

It's pretty likely, given Shane's love for the uniqueness of the tacos that were made at Ay Dios Mio, I think he'll have to come back for more.

You can see many other local places that were featured on The Texas Bucket List down below.
