Drowning Pool Shows Love to Loyal El Paso Fans in Music Video
We've already seen some incredible moments at Speaking Rock Entertainment Center this year in El Paso; when Escape the Fate came back to perform, they did a special tribute to Selena that went viral.
El Paso is also very familiar with the Texas rockers Drowning Pool; the Dallas rockers have been here to town over a dozen times, the latest being on September 14th at Speaking Rock. In fact it was their last visit that the band decided to do something very special...
Drowning Pool featured El Paso in their music video for "Revolution".
You don't even need to wait long to see that the video for "Revolution (The Final Amen)" was shot in El Paso; literally the very first seconds of the video you can see the sign for "Speaking Rock".
The video shows the band playing outside surrounded by a ton of fans cheering them on & footage of their performing AT Speaking Rock on September 14th.
The video even showed a cameo from El Paso's Whatajesus, aka the man who ate the 10 patty Whataburger...burger. You can spot him right at the 2:56 mark.
Check out the video of yourself; if you were there at the concert, try to spot yourself in the crowd!
This wasn't the first time we've seen someone in El Paso be featured in a metal band's music video; you can read about the one El Pasoan who was included in a Metallica music video here.
