Miami Beach Is Breaking Up With Spring Break

They are trying to get the word out that they are done with unsafe situations during spring break.  According to WLRN.org the past three years during the school holiday have been more of a crime scene than a rite of passage.

Last year's string of deadly spring break shootings was the final straw for the city, and something had to give. They had to declare a state of emergency to deal with the crowds and violence.

Spring Breakers Are Still Showing Up To Miami

  • Parking Restrictions
  • Sidewalk Cafe Closures

The strict measures for visitors are having an effect, but there have already been issues with visitors making the news this week. It's going to take more than one year of new rules to get this situation fully contained.
