Cowboys Corral: Dallas Sinks Seattle Seahawks To Win 14th In A Row At Home
The Dallas Cowboys beat the Seattle Seahawks 41-35 in the season's highest-scoring Thursday Night Football game. But, it wasn't as easy as expected.
How Dallas Won
Dak Prescott showed why he is in the MVP conversation, throwing for almost 300 yards with three touchdowns. Dak now has 20 touchdown passes in six games which is the most in franchise history in a six-game span. Cee Dee Lamb benefited from Dak's great game, catching 12 passes for 116 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, the Cowboys couldn't stop DK Metcalf or the passing attack of the Seahawks for most of the game. But Dallas was able to make just enough plays at critical times with Micah Parsons coming off the edge to put a stamp on the end of the game.
I have to hand it to Seattle, they are a lot better than I thought they were. I honestly thought we would completely destroy them. But obviously, that was not the case.
The Cowboys are now 9-3 on the year and only one-and-a-half games back from the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC East. That sets up one heck of a matchup next week as Dallas will host the red-hot Eagles.
Let's go, Cowboys!
