The coronavirus outbreak has completely changed everything. We don't go grocery shopping the same way, we don't work the same way, and our kids lives have been totally upended. They have school at home, can't leave to go play at their friend's houses, can't go to the movies, can't go see their other family members, can't go play in the park, and don't even get me started on not being able to swim in public pools this summer. Sounds like a helluva tough time for the beasties, doesn't it? It is, but think of their moms.

Mom has to cook, clean, do the laundry, put on a hazmat suit to go grocery shopping, and still try to get some work done at home. This stay-at-home coronavirus quarantine nightmare has been tough on us all, but this Sunday you can thank the mom in your life on Mother's Day by ordering something in to eat, trying to keep the beasties out of her hair so she can soak in the tub, or do some binge watching of her favorite Netflix series while sitting on the couch all alone.

But what to do about flowers? If you don't want to splurge on a big bouquet, you can show your mom these plants and flowers for a digital Mother's Day bouquet and plan for plants in her yard and garden rather than just a bouquet of cut flowers. All of these plants can be found at local nurseries and garden shops. Just remember to practice social distancing and wear a mask if you decide to go out and get some for your mom this Mother's Day.
