If the name Laura Harring sounds familiar to you- then you probably remember when the bright eyed brunette was crowned Miss El Paso in 1984!

Known as Laura Elena Martinez Harring, she would then compete in the Miss Texas pageant and win!

She then went on to win Miss USA in 1985!

The beauty pageant winner would go on to star in shows and films and is probably best known for her role in the 2001 post-modern neo-noir film "Mulholland Drive" which also stars Naomi Watts and Justin Theroux.

That's right, the former El Pasoan was Rita in "Mulholland Drive"! I never knew!

Her other acting credits include:

• and Mrs. Dunleavy on "Little Nicky"

She had a quick scene in "Little Nicky" but I feel it was probably very memorable for some.
