The biggest hot button issue in the NFL right now is the New Orleans bounty situation.  Financial rewards or 'bounties' for players making big plays is nothing new to pro football, but the program that Gregg Williams has been running for years seems to be unprecedented.

With the league facing class action lawsuits from former players, commissioner Roger Goodell is being proactive about limiting violent hits and head trauma in the NFL.

Former El Pasoan and Andress graduate Ray Mickens played cornerback in the NFL for nearly a decade.  Mickens gave his unique perspective as a former player on the current New Orleans bounty situation.  He also talked about some of the financial incentives he was privy to in the league.

We're all part of a fraternity so you can't really imagine someone trying to take your knee out or doing something like that to put you out for a season.
