Bravos de FC Juarez vice-president, Alvaro Navarro announced yesterday that midfielder, Edgar Pacheco will no longer be a part of FC Juarez.

Pacheco will be headed to Asia to play professional soccer in the South Korea.

Ths situation according to Navarro met all of the parameters of one of the exception clauses in Pacheco's contract to leave Bravos mid-season for another team. The vice-president for the team from the Borderland commented on the situation, “I sat down with our head coach to discuss this exception in Edgar's contract. All we are ever going to do is respect our players contracts 100% and we decided to take action immediately to facilitate his departure to he can report overseas in one week's time. We are a serious institution and we will continue to honor all of the aspects of our player's individual contracts.”

Navarro added, “No other player on our team has clause like this therefore this situation will not repeat itself.”

Pacheco will be missed by Bravos as he was a consistent and reliable factor coming off the bench with 20 to 15 minutes to go in matches. Now with the Bravos competing in their league competition (Ascenso Mx) and the Copa Mx, Pacheco was going to be seeing a lot more action that he did all of last season. Pacheco also scored the FC Juarez's first ever goal.

FC Juarez currently finds itself Guadalajara, Jalisco where they will face Chivas tonight for the their second match of the Copa MX group stage. The game will kickoff at 6pm MST and will take place in Omnilife Stadium in Zapopan, Jalisco a suburb of Guadalajara.
