Senior year in high school is such a important year for many students. This transitional year of grade school into the real world has been put to an early end for many students across the country this year. El Paso students are already feeling the disappointment of postponed graduations, canceled sports seasons and having to finish school work at home.

According to KFOX, Thanks to Christina Acala some seniors will still get a graduation gift by the power of online shopping. Acala has created 'Adopt a High School Senior El Paso' and is taking the necessary precautions to safely get these gifts to local students.

You can request to be added to this group by answering three questions. Once you do, you can adopt a senior, submit a senior or both!

If you or your business would like to adopt a senior, send in that request and answer those questions ASAP. I really wish things good be different for these 2020 seniors. Coming from a small town, I adored graduating with my 2010 Fabens High School class, as I grew up with these people. That connection to your school is a weird bond that stays with you for life, especially with people you meet from your local rival school.

Don't worry, like gets better after high school.

Congrats, Class of 2020!
