Local high school baseball teams are getting the opportunity to play on a Triple-A baseball team, thanks to the El Paso Chihuahuas and Fred Loya. They are teaming up for the Fred Loya High School Baseball series, which kicks off today at Southwest University Park!

Starting March 10th, 14 schools will be participating in this unique opportunity. Riverside will take on Chapin tonight at 7 p.m., to kick-off the series and the event will conclude on April 28th with Ysleta vs. Riverside on Tuesday at 7 p.m. All games are free and open to the public.

El Paso Chihuahuas general manager Brad Taylor and Fred Loya are excited to bring this unique event to El Paso and give students an opportunity of a lifetime,
