The Dodgers avoided getting swept by the Brewers in Milwaukee today, with the continued exceptional play led by Matt Kemp. LA led the entire game, although it got close in the 6th when Aramis Ramirez scored on Travis Ishikawa's deep right field single to bring the score to 4-3 Dodgers.

Matt Kemp hit his seventh home run of the season and the Los Angeles Dodgers avoided a three-game sweep with a 4-3 victory over theMilwaukee Brewers on Thursday.

Andre Ethier and Juan Rivera added RBI singles while Jerry Hairston Jr. made two big late-inning defensive plays for the Dodgers, who lost the first two games of the series on late-game fireworks by the Brewers.
