Dez Bryant has been patiently waiting at home for the perfect opportunity. The former Dallas Cowboys receiver turned down a multi-year deal this offseason to play for the Baltimore Ravens and he also visited the Cleveland Browns in the preseason. This morning, Bryant agreed to join the New Orleans Saints for the remainder of the season. It is the perfect landing spot for both Dez and the Saints.

New Orleans is currently 7-1 and in first place in the NFC South. They have a future first-ballot Hall of Fame quarterback in Drew Brees, dynamic running back Alvin Kamara, and a 25-year old #1 receiver in Michael Thomas. Adding Dez to the mix is an incredible mid-season weapon that should benefit head coach Sean Peyton. Thomas is the only Saints receiver with more than 12 catches this season, but that should change now with Bryant in the fold.

Mark your calendars for November 29th at 6:20pm, when the Dallas Cowboys host the New Orleans Saints. There is no doubt that Dez will want to stick it to his former team on national television, and prove to owner Jerry Jones and the rest of the organization that they made a mistake by releasing him.
