David Lemieux Scores A Brutal 3rd Rd KO

Saturday night, David Lemieux and Curtis Stevens stepped into the ring to face off as the main event at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, NY. Unfortunately, only one of them was going to be able to walk out at the end of the night.

Lemieux wasted no time displaying that incredible power we have come to love, attacking both the body and head of Stevens. Although Stevens was able to deliver a few good exchanges himself, his effort was only able to get him as far as the 3rd round.

It was about halfway into the 3rd round, that Stevens was knocked unconscious by a powerful short left hook by Lemieux, for what seemed like forever, medical staff were quick to respond and Stevens was taken out by a stretcher and transported to a near by hospital. As he was carried out he did appear to be responsive.
