Chihuahuas Sweep River Cats On First Military Monday
The El Paso Chihuahuas saved the best for last during their first ever homestand. The team rebounded from a four game sweep by Fresno to take all four games from the Sacramento River Cats, including last night's walk-off grand slam by shortstop Jake Lemmerman. The Chihuahuas are suddenly riding a four-game winning streak, and will travel to Fresno to seek revenge against the Grizzlies. You can listen to every game on 600 ESPN El Paso with the voice of the Chihuahuas, Tim Hagerty calling the action. Team 600's Jorge Salgado was at Southwest University Park last night and captured some of the memorable moments from the first ever Military Monday at the ballpark.
