Actor Charlie Sheen was in attendance last night to watch the Cincinnati Reds and Pittsburgh Pirates play in the National League Wild Card Playoff game. Sheen, whose father Martin was born in Dayton, is a lifelong Reds fan and extremely disappointed in his team's loss to the Pirates.

After the loss, Sheen gave an interview to Fox Sports and wished the Pirates well in their upcoming series against the St. Louis Cardinals. Ironically, one of Sheen's most memorable baseball acting roles was Rick "wild Thing" Vaughn in the movie Major League. However, Vaughn did not pitch for the Reds in Major League, but instead Ohio's other MLB team, the Cleveland Indians.
