Brutal KO Sends Local Fighter Packing For King Of The Cage

This past weekend at the Southwest Brawl 4 MMA event in Las Cruces, amateur local fighter John Romero (who trains out of 12th District MMA with coaches Jesse Ojeda and Mando Rosales) walked away with the KO of the night. Romero landed a brutal right hand which sent his opponent Juan Ibarra down to the mat and closed the show with some nasty punches until the referee stopped the fight. Romero's impressive 13 second victory by KO has landed him a fight this weekend against Dakota Coleman in Albuquerque, NM. The King Of The Cage event "Will Power"  will be held at the Embassy Suites Hotel and Spa Saturday 8/13.
