MIAMI (AP) — Two people familiar with the negotiations say Pro Bowl left tackle Branden Albert is finalizing the details on a contract with the Miami Dolphins, the first step in the revamping of the team's troubled offensive line.

The people confirmed the status of talks to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the team hadn't made an announcement. One of the people says the contract is expected to be signed Wednesday morning.

One of the people also says former Houston Texans defensive tackle Earl Mitchell was finalizing the details on an agreement with Miami as well.

Albert would move into the position played at the start of last season by Jonathan Martin, who left the team in October and alleged he was harassed persistently by teammates.
