Baconfest Was the Most Delicious Event Ever [PICTURES]

Usually when people ask the Iceman if I eat pork I say no I don't eat pork, just bacon.  Many El Pasoans share my love of bacon as they attended the first ever Sun City Bacon Festival on Sunday at Union Plaza.  Bacon lovers came out in groves to taste a variety of bacon inspired samples from 1914 Lounge, Around The World Catering, Cabo Joe’s, Cantina Malolam, Dark Horse, Geske’s Fire Grill, Great American, Hillside Coffee & Donut Co., Independent Burger & Bar, Nona’s Pizza Bar, Ode Brewery, Stonewood Modern American Grill, Tabla, The Garden and Tumbleweed Salon.

Additional vendors included, Kona Ice Snow Cones, Sloppy Seconds Sandwiches,  El Jefe, Sweet Addiction, TLC Kettle, Crave Kitchen & Bar, Craze and French Fry Heaven.  This event was an incredible delight that was a fresh new idea that El Paso needed, and I believe will be popular for years to come.
