Amir Kahn Wins Opportunity To Fight Mayweather Next

On February 3rd, Mayweather Promotions put up a poll on who the next opponent for Floyd Mayweather Jr. would be between Marcos Maidana and Amir Kahn.

According to the final results today on the Mayweather promotions site, Kahn recieved 57 percent to Maidana's 43 percent. These numbers do contridict similar polls where many showed overwhelming support for Maidana.

Nothing has been signed and details really haven't been set in stone, however fans have mix feelings about the upcoming fight set for May.

I believe this can be a great fight but not sure if Kahn really has a solid chance of topping the P4P king. Kahn has proven to be a great fighter at times. There has also been those times where we come to question the chin and choice of trainer of Kahn.

No matter if Kahn does fight Mayweather next, the main fight that people will want to see is a Mayweather-Pacquaio.
